Just a reminder that we will not have Bible Trek this week for Easter Sunday. This will give our volunteers a chance to rest and it will give you a chance to go to service as a family!
Your kids should be able to sit through a service and get something out of it. I challenge you to set a high standard for your kids this Easter. Tell them ahead of time that you will ask them what the service was about. Then have them participate in the service - - stand and sing along with worship (we sing the same songs in Bible Trek, so they should know them), open their own Bibles when Pastor Andy says where we are reading from, and be totally present with the sermon. After service is over, start a conversation with them about what they learned in service.
We also have worksheets available for your kids to fill out while listening to the sermon. You can pick one up at the Bible Trek sign-in table. We'll have plenty of copies available!
